Turkey Chili

My Husband and I love a good hearty soup.

This is my go-to Chili recipe.  It is quick and Easy and oh so Tasty.

Turkey Chili
Easy Crock Pot Turkey Chili

 

Turkey Chili with beans

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1 small Diced onion

1 small red pepper diced

1 pound Ground Turkey

2 14 oz diced Tomatoes

1 jar medium salsa

1 can of Corn

1 16oz can of Red Kidney Beans

1 tablespoon Chili powder

1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

½ tsp of garlic powder

Salt to taste

Heat oil in cast iron pan and brown the ground Turkey

Mix Turkey and all ingredients in Crockpot.

Cover and cook 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high.

 

If you don’t like it too spicy you can cut back on the Chili powder and Red Pepper Flakes

When you only have a few hours (and more importantly – very little energy) in order to do anything useful once you get home, it can make it very hard to spend the time you want to with your family, to spend time working out and getting into shape, to spend time outdoors. Even just to read that book or play that video game that you’ve been wanting to experience for a while now.
It’s so bad that we end up just looking forward to the time when we’re old enough to retire. You know something is wrong when we’re actively looking forward to being so old and that we can’t move around properly without being in a lot of pain…
